There is a large stone wall that surrounds the old and original section of Jerusalem. It is still possible to walk on the ramparts which are walkways at the top of the wall. I spotted an Isralei soldier with his automatic weapon standing guard and I though it made an interesting shot of the old city fitted with all of the tv aerials, and the reminder of the strife that the region is known for.
