18" X 24", acrylic on canvas. Once again I am working out of the inspiration of The Firesign Theatre which I am obsessed with. The Future Fair is an amusement park created by the government to distract the general public from the horrible state of the economy. The attractions resemble 'Disneyland' futurism, complete with holographic theme characters who sing and interact with the guests. The bait and switch misinformation is obvious to us, but easily placates the multitudes who have been dumbed-down to the point that they refer to themselves as 'bozos'.
